International Economics

The core research activities of the International Economics Programme (IEP), headed by Dr Paola Subacchi, concentrate on the following four interdependent themes: Reforms, Institutions and Governance, Emerging Economic Powers, Economic Integration and International Finance, Trade and Geo-economic Trends.

Find about more about the programme and our current projects. A list of IEP staff, associate fellows and our advisory board can be found on the staff page.

IEP organizes regular seminars, study groups and workshops at Chatham House and abroad, bringing together a range of policymakers, academics and business leaders. View our research events page to find out more about past and future events. Members of Chatham House also have access to an audio and transcript archive of members' events on international economics.

We publish Chatham House reports, briefing papers and other research notes on a regular basis. Visit our papers page to find out more. Books are listed separately on the books page.

Articles related to international economics in the monthly Chatham House magazine The World Today and the bi-monthly journal International Affairs are also sorted and listed in this area for convenience.
