The usual format is an hour long meeting with the speaker addressing the audience for half an hour followed by a question and answer session. 
Other formats include panel debates and roundtable discussions.Members Events
The Members Events Department runs meetings and events specifically for members. It provides a forum where world leaders, policy-makers and opinion formers can be heard and their views discussed in an impartial environment. The programme of meetings aims to cover current issues in international affairs as they arise and develop.
Members events also include The Chatham House Annual Conference, Annual Lectures (including the Whitehead Lecture, Dillon Lecture and tri-annual Martin Wight Memorial Lecture) and the US Election Series.
Members events are colour-coded green on the main calendar of events. A full list of forthcoming events is provided below.
