Event Formats

Members eventThe usual format is an hour long meeting with the speaker addressing the audience for half an hour followed by a question and answer session.

Panel discussionsOther formats include panel debates and roundtable discussions.

 

 

Members Events

The Members Events Department runs meetings and events specifically for members. It provides a forum where world leaders, policy-makers and opinion formers can be heard and their views discussed in an impartial environment. The programme of meetings aims to cover current issues in international affairs as they arise and develop.

Members events also include The Chatham House Annual Conference, Annual Lectures (including the Whitehead Lecture, Dillon Lecture and tri-annual Martin Wight Memorial Lecture) and the US Election Series.

Advance registration for all events is required for members and their guests (one guest per member unless otherwise stated).

In most cases registrations will not be acknowledged unless unsuccessful.

The event will be closed to further registrations when full.
