Library

PLEASE NOTE: The Library will be closed 24-26 December 2008 and 1-2 January 2009. It re-opens at 10am on Monday 5 January 2009.

The Chatham House Library was established in 1921 and has one of the oldest specialist collections of material on international affairs in the United Kingdom.

The collection focuses on international politics, economics and security. While concentrating on current issues and the most recent thirty years, the Library retains significant earlier documentary material, particularly on the background to ongoing intractable problems in world affairs.
