Individual Membership
Chatham House brings together individuals who share a deep interest in international affairs, independent thinking and debate. Our members encompass a diverse range of backgrounds and professions including academics, business people, diplomats, the media, NGOs, politicians, policy-makers, researchers and others. As a member you become part of this influential network.
Contributions from our members, through subscriptions and other donations, are a vital source of discretionary revenue that helps to sustain the independence of Chatham House.

Membership is valid for a year and renewable annually on the anniversary of joining. There are four types of individual membership:
Full Membership: £260.75
Enjoy all the benefits of membership (listed above).
Price includes one-time joining fee of £50 and 2.25% card processing fee

Under 35s Membership: £143.15
Enjoy all the benefits of membership (listed above). Available to individuals aged 34 years or below.
Price includes one-time joining fee of £30 and 2.25% card processing fee

Student Membership: £92.00
Open to all full-time students. Enjoy all the benefits of membership (listed above) for £92. If you are a student of an Academic Institutional Member of Chatham House you are eligible for a discounted membership of £71.60.

Web Membership: £66.50
Enjoy all the benefits of web membership:
- Access to all of our members' only content online, which includes current and archived transcripts and audio recordings of events held at Chatham House, International Affairs articles and The World Today articles.
- Two visits to Chatham House each year, to attend Members Events or to use the Library.
- An e-newsletter each month giving the latest updates on research, events and news at Chatham House.
