International Affairs is a leading journal of international relations. It is committed to excellence in scholarship and accessibility in style, combining policy relevance with an academic, in-depth analytical approach to contemporary world politics.

International Affairs features a range of articles written with the general as well as the specialist reader in mind. It avoids technical jargon and presents complex issues in a straightforward way.

International Affairs is published 6 times a year in January, March, May, July, September and November.

Only the featured article from the current issue is freely accessible to all on this website. All other articles are Chatham House members only. More about membership. The archive contains all issues from 1998.
