Israel: The Internal Dynamics of Social, Political and Economic Change
A major conference examining the drivers of change inside Israel was held on 12 December 2007 at Chatham House. The event was a rare opportunity for a UK audience to learn about Israel's domestic dynamics with sessions covering identity, economics, demographics and the nature of the Israeli political process.
Speakers included: Stanley Fischer, Governor of the Bank of Israel; David Landau, Editor of Haaretz, and Joseph Cedar, Director of the Oscar-nominated film Beaufort.
