This roundtable discussion will debate the G8 and G20 agendas in 2009 within the context of the current economic crisis. The meeting will focus on how to exit the worldwide downturn and address the imbalances which helped precipitate the crisis - with an eye to long-term reform of the IFIs and economic global governance.

The meeting will be held under the Chatham House Rule.
