The September 2009 issue of International Affairs on North Africa in Transition, guest edited by Claire Spencer, Head of the Middle East and North Africa Programme, Chatham House, was launched at the British Embassy in Cairo in cooperation with the FCO. Panellists, many of whom authored some of the wide ranging articles focusing on political, cultural and socio-economic issues in the region, debated key questions raised in a lively debate.
