Type: Research and other events

This is the third in the series of Chatham House-RRI Dialogue on Forests, Governance and Climate Change. It will provide a key opportunity to discuss the implications of what was, and wasn't, agreed at the Copenhagen climate conference in December 2009.

The agenda is almost finalised, and will include sessions on:

  • Perspectives on Copenhagen: what was agreed, and what does it mean?
  • Learning from the ground: addressing tenure and governance to fight deforestation and promote restoration.
  • How can REDD promote better forest governance?
  • What happens next? A question and answer session with a panel of experts.

Registration for this meeting is now closed. We have reached capacity for the meeting hall. If you have previously registered but are now unable to participate, please contact us at climate-forest.registration@chathamhouse.org.uk

All the presentations from this meeting will be posted on the illegal logging website shortly after the meeting, to be followed by a full report of the discussions.
