This event will launch International Alert's groundbreaking new report which examines the growing risk of armed conflict as a result of climate change now being experienced by some of the most fragile regions of the world.

The report updates the scene since International Alert's widely quoted 2007 publication, A Climate of Conflict, and reveals the alarming consequences of continued inaction to enable affected countries to adapt to the consequences of climate driven changes on their populations.

The speaker will outline some of the reports' key conclusions and the challenges it presents to policy makers as they prepare for the Copenhagen Climate Summit and beyond.

This event is in association with International Alert.

Attendance at this event is by invitation only.
