As anticipated, the first round of the Ukrainian presidential elections produced no overall winner and a run-off will now be held on 7 February between Viktor Yanukovych and Yulia Tymoshenko. The speakers will discuss the implications of the second-round result for Ukraine's domestic politics, and relations with Russia, the EU and the wider region. After an election campaign dominated by personalities over policies, how significant will the people's choice be for Ukraine's internal development and geopolitical orientation?
