The speaker will argue in favour of the provocative statement that 'It's better to have a war with Iran than have a nuclear Iran'. He will be challenged in this assertion by four hecklers and then face questions from the audience. This will be the second time a programme from the BBC Radio 4 show has been recorded at Chatham House. Last year Professor Brendan O'Leary of the University of Pennsylvania was heckled as he defended Iraq's newly agreed constitution and predicted that it laid the foundation for the country's prospects for success.

This programme will be broadcast on BBC Radio 4 at 20.00 on Wednesday 15 August and repeated at 22.15 on Saturday 18 August.
