A panel of London based US Bureau Chiefs will comment on the media coverage of the 2008 US Presidential elections, and the ways in which the candidates campaigns are being reported on in the UK and in the United States. The panel will also discuss the role of new medias such as blogs and social networking sites in transforming the way that young people engage in the political process and the effect this has had on voting decisions, fundraising and campaign strategies.

There will be an open reception from 18.30, followed by the meeting at 19.00.
