Individual Membership
Individual Membership of Chatham House is open to anyone with an interest in international affairs. By joining Chatham House, you become part of a network of like-minded people from a wide range of backgrounds who share your interest in international issues.
If you are not resident in London or the UK you may be interested in Web Membership.
All members are encouraged to complete and return the Interests Questionnaire.
Membership is valid for a year and renewable annually on the anniversary of joining:
Full Membership: £260.75

Student Membership: £92.00
Open to students of academic institutions. Enjoy all the benefits of membership (listed below) for £92. If you are a student of an academic institutional member of Chatham House you are eligible for £71.60 membership.

- Members Events programme of around 100 meetings per year addressed by international leaders, UK politicians, academics, business leaders, media, Chatham House researchers and other experts.
- The Under 35s Forum event programme for individual, corporate and academic members under 35.
- Members may bring a guest to on the record events in the Members Events programme subject to availability and advance registration.
- Members' receptions, 'meet the speaker' receptions and other events.
- Open access seminars, workshops and discussion groups organized by our regional and thematic research areas.
- Complimentary copies of our monthly magazine The World Today, our bimonthly peer-reviewed academic journal International Affairs and our monthly Chatham House Newsletter.
- Members' only content on the Chatham House website including fully searchable audio and transcript archive of over 400 transcripts and recordings of events held at Chatham House, over 950 articles from The World Today archive and over 500 articles from International Affairs archive.
- Chatham House publications including briefing papers, research reports, working papers, meeting summaries and other publications. Members also enjoy a 30% discount from Blackwells on selected titles.
- The Library and Information service, including wifi internet access, print and electronic material (comprising 150,000 books and pamphlets, 300 periodicals, 30 current newspapers in English and other languages, access to BBC Monitoring and FT.com), complimentary research enquiry service and the free loan of up to 10 books at a time.
