Chatham House Foundation

The Chatham House Foundation (CHF) is a non-political US not-for-profit corporation whose purpose is to promote the study of international affairs. CHF seeks to bring to Americans the type of rigorous analysis, independent speakers and members' events developed by the Royal Institute of International Affairs.

We welcome internationally active individuals from both public and private sectors to become Fellows and supporters of CHF.

Membership in CHF will support the organization's work in such areas as US foreign policy, international law, international security issues and regional programmes on the Middle East, Africa and Asia.

  • Two CHF Conferences in New York (Spring) and London (Fall), where CHF Fellows discuss the issues with international policy makers and Chatham House experts.
  • International Affairs (bi-monthly), the flagship Chatham House journal with authoritative, in-depth analyses of international issues.

  • Chatham House News (monthly), with details of recent and future meetings and seminars at Chatham House.

  • Members' receptions to 'meet the speaker' and network with other Chatham House members.
  • Members' room and library where members can relax in the heart of London with a coffee and newspapers from around the world.
  • Access to the members' only content of the Chatham House website with research reports, policy papers and transcripts of previous meetings and speakers.
