Asia Programme - Current Projects |
Asia programme research primarily focuses on South Asia and North-East Asia. Research on South Asia has two broad themes: conflict and democracy within South Asia, and India's emerging global role. For China, research focuses on the political and economic reforms China is undergoing, its role in the world economy, and its impact in the region. The Asia Programme also runs regular meetings discussing political and economic developments in the Korea peninsula, Japan and Indonesia.
