The Asia Programme's work on Japan aims to promote understanding of Japan's economic, political and social development, and its impact upon the rest of the world.

Japan Discussion Group

The Japan Discussion Group is convened by Dr Christopher Hood. The meetings are usually attended by around 20 people and after a presentation on an important issue relating to Japan, there is a round-table discussion.
