The Arab League includes 22 members from across the Middle East and Africa. A significant number of these states suffer from protracted and serious conflict. One of the goals of the Arab League is to end conflict and settle disputes. The Secretary General will outline the organization's views of some of these contemporary conflicts and explain its peacemaking initiatives.
