Recent projects

• New Security Challenges

In a collaborative venture with the UK's Economic and Social Research Council (ESRC), the International Security Programme published a series of briefing papers on emerging security issues, written by project leaders within the ESRC's New Security Challenges Programme. The first briefing paper 'Security, Terrorism and the UK' was launched in July 2005, receiving unprecedented national and international press coverage. Other papers in the series include:
